A retractable wooden pergola was built for this outdoor space in Dubai Hills. We used Red Meranti wood from Malaysia, finished with outdoor paint, stain, and varnish to protect the wood. A retractable fabric roof was added on top, which can be opened or closed when needed. The wooden side panels also give the pergola a nice and private feel.
